Congratulations - Designing and constructing machines for manufacturing semiconductors, flat panel displays and other high tech products is a demanding skill.

Your tool must fit into a semiconductor or flat panel fab. There will be material transportation to and from the machine, remote control by a host system, collection of process data, online tuning of recipe parameters and many other capabilities which are necessary in a 24 by 7 fully automated manufacturing environment, but not necessarily related to your core skills or capabilities. These place extra demands on your engineering resources and are often episodic in nature, creating peak demands when tools are placed in factories.
